Help & FAQ

Everything you need to plan a trip with Voyageur. No boarding pass required, and the queue is mercifully short.

How do I plan my first trip?

Create an account, choose New trip on your dashboard and give it a title and dates. Then add a first stage: a city or region where you will spend some time. Congratulations, you are now officially more organised than most group chats.

How do stages work?

Each stage is a destination with its own dates, notes, photo and bookings. Drag a stage by its handle to reorder it and Voyageur shifts the travel dates to match, which is more than any airline has ever done for you.

Where do hotels, flights and activities go?

Expand a stage to add accommodation stays, transport (flights, trains, buses, cars and ferries) and daily activities. Keep confirmation codes, seats and gates there too, so nobody has to dig through 400 emails at the check-in desk. Tasks keep track of everything still to do, for the whole trip or for each stage.

Why does the weather say “Climate average”?

Live forecasts only reach about 16 days ahead. For stages further away, Voyageur shows an estimate based on the usual climate of the region. We can promise statistics, not sunshine: pack an umbrella anyway.

How do I plan together with my travel companions?

Open the trip and choose Share trip. You can share with anyone who already has a Voyageur account: pick someone you have shared with before or enter their full email address. Turn on Allow editing to make them a co-planner, or leave it off for view-only access, and remove access at any time. Deciding who gets the window seat remains your problem.

What does “Changed elsewhere” mean?

Someone else saved the same trip while you were editing it, so your latest change was not saved rather than overwriting theirs. Reload the trip and apply your change again. Diplomacy 1, edit wars 0.

Can I use my itinerary offline?

Yes. From the trip options, download a PDF, print a paper copy or export a calendar file (.ics) for Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar. Airport Wi-Fi will not be missed.

How do I change my password, language or theme?

Open Settings from the account menu in the top-right corner. There you can update your profile, language and theme, change your password and sign out of your other devices. Dark mode included, for planning your next escape at 2 a.m.

How do I delete my account?

In Settings, choose to delete your account. This permanently deletes your account and the trips you own, and removes your access to trips shared with you. Export anything you want to keep first: we cannot unpack a suitcase that has already left on the carousel.
